This v/blog is about sharing stories, listening to people tell their journey whether it be about their careers or hobbies. Inspiring others to follow their dreams and strive to do something that makes them happy, speaks to their soul or lights a fire in their belly. My guests share advice from their own perspectives over various topics, they share their hopes and dreams and what they want out of life and out of their endeavors. The great thing about being human is that everyone has their own experiences that form their own opinions, and sometimes we need to hear an opinion that differs from our own. This is not a place to condemn someone for how they do or think about things if it’s different from how you’d do it, but to just listen and take it for what it is – a sharing of their experience.

Put on your sun shades because this guy is BRIGHT!

I’m not gonna lie, this is one of my favorite episodes. Michael is a joy to talk to and he exudes positive, uplifting, relatable energy. Listening to him speak about his beliefs, dreams, thoughts, goals and everything else reminds me of why I wanted to start this vodcast. He’s smart, inspiring, kind, supportive, determined and all around fantastic. Super refreshing conversation.

Michael talks about how he got started in audio dramas, which led him to pursue voice acting. You can find his stories under Mysticborn Productions on Youtube, link below. As a Polynesian, he wants to see more representation for his ethnicity in entertainment, so that’s exactly what he does – create it. He’s produced many audio dramas and has a lot of stories to tell while also creating stories and roles specifically for Polynesians. Leading by example, he creates his own content and we talk about why that’s so important.

How do you grow in any aspect – career, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually? You get uncomfortable. You feel the fear of doing something new, the anxiety of the possibility of failure (or success, some people have that fear but I honestly can’t relate) and whatever other negative thoughts/emotions you have around the topic and you push past it all. You acknowledge it. And then you move forward. If you wait until you’re comfortable, until you’re ready, you may never get there. If you want change, you have to make it happen. If you want something bad enough you’ll do what needs to be done.

I feel energized and motivated just writing this. I love this, because I live it and I know that everything will turn in my favor so long as I believe it will, I believe in myself and I do my best. I want that for you and everyone else. I want to see people going for their dreams and succeed. You inspire people by doing and speaking about what lights your soul ablaze, and that’s a beautiful thing. Keep it up.
